Te Puna Business Park
Independent resource-consent processing for a complex three-site business park, on behalf of council.
Heather Perring is engaged to provide independent resource-consent processing on behalf of Western Bay of Plenty District Council for a package of applications covering three sites within Te Puna Business Park.
The ongoing project has included representation in the Environment Court and public-notification hearings, plus project management and coordination across all three sites and applications, and coordination with Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
With a heavy workload and high complexity, the role requires daily active project management and a high level of communication, both within council and with the three applicants. Heather works with a council support team on key tasks such as summarising submissions and the notification process, and works closely with legal counsel for the Environment Court.
