Bay Oval is one of New Zealand’s premier cricket grounds, recently rated by The Telegraph among the top ten places in the world to watch cricket.
Kaitiaki provided expert project management to lead the consultant and project team through the construction phase of the pavilion extension. Careful coordination was required to navigate scope changes as additional funding became available to complete fit-out zones previously removed through value management.
The result is an architectural standout that embraces the sports field and flexes from international fixtures to local concerts and private functions, delivered to a tight, pre-summer-cricket programme.
