Kaitiaki Build has carried out storm remediation works to replace a large section of roof that was blown off the building during a tornado on Sunday 19 April 2026.

Works are underway to repair other areas of the marae and the adjacent Rangataua Sports & Cultural Club that were damaged by extreme winds and debris.
