Chris has designed and delivered numerous successful projects nationally and internationally over a multifaceted career driven by a passion for urbanism, technology and regenerative design. Notable achievements include leading the design of one of the world’s largest shopping malls, in Kuwait, and working on a major land-reclamation project in St Petersburg, Russia. Closer to home, a recent highlight is the St Joseph’s Māori Girls’ College refurbishment in Napier, balancing historic preservation with modernised student facilities.

Chris studied architecture at Victoria University in Wellington and has over 20 years of professional experience. After formative years with a commercial practice in Wellington, he spent eight years with a global multidisciplinary firm in London, gaining international expertise in masterplanning and urban design across Europe, the Middle East, North America, Asia and the Pacific.

A registered architect, NZIA member and LEED Accredited Professional, Chris values being part of a multidisciplinary team delivering turn-key solutions. Outside work he enjoys trail running, cooking, gardening and reading, and has explored 32 countries so far.
