Kaitiaki Build is a sister company to Kaitiaki Property, the team that turns plans, consents and drawings into finished buildings across the Bay of Plenty and Auckland. We focus on small to medium-scale developments: commercial and light-commercial builds, tenancy fit-outs, and the refurbishment or restoration of existing and heritage buildings.

Our work is built on three things: capable leadership, thorough planning and clear communication. Every site we run is led by a dedicated foreman or site manager, supported by a project manager, with office-based support from a construction manager and a commercial manager. There is always a clear line of accountability and a single point of contact, which keeps decisions fast and quality consistent from the first works to handover.

We believe the best construction outcomes start long before anyone is on site. Engaged early, we bring buildability advice and cost certainty to the design table, testing the programme, the budget and the detail while changes are still cheap to make. It is an approach that protects your budget, removes nasty surprises at tender, and gives the wider project team confidence that what has been drawn can actually be built.
